Holiday Party Apparel Guide

It’s the season that keeps on giving! Are you getting excited for your companies and friends holiday parties this year?! I still can’t get over that it’s about to be winter and that the holidays are here, but let’s be honest even if it is freezing in New York City at least it is the most magical place to be during the holiday season. The streets are lit up; the ice skating rinks are packed and of course the largest tree ever is decorated behind Radio City Hall at Rockefeller Center! Be sure to check it out if you are in Manhattan!

In order to attend all of these holiday festivities, you have to have the perfect Holiday looks! Obviously, my go to is anything glittery or sparkly, but velvet is a big trend that is not going away this season. The fabric even has its own shimmer when you walk into rooms with different lighting. Remember when you could only find a velvet top??? Well now you can find jumpsuits, leggings, all different tops, blazers, suits and so many more options! Below are a few of my favorite velvet trends for this Holiday season…..

Not a fan of velvet, that’s okay there are plenty of amazing trends that are perfect for your holiday events this year! Have you tried the poly sateen look?! I love that feeling of taking off your coat when you walk into a party and everyone just stares at your outfit because it is so shiny and eye catching. Revolve has brought in some amazing designs that are 100% holiday friendly and most definitely eye catching! See a few of my favorite shiny holiday reds and greens below…..

This weather isn’t getting any warmer so instead of just hiding your outfit underneath your massive coat, check out some of these amazing faux fur coats to show your trendy self on the outer layer!

Getting dressed for these festivities is never easy and most of the time you are worrying about what style and dressiness level everyone else will be in. Let me stop you right there because it shouldn’t matter what everyone else is wearing. As long as you are happy, festive, comfortable and wearing your favorite trends then don’t worry about everyone else around you! Just enjoy being surrounded by friends, family, co-workers and anyone else that helps create this magical time of year!
