Dancing into 2021

Anyone else eager to dance their way into a New Year?!? It has been one hell of a year, but instead of dwelling on everything negative that has happened in 2020, take a minute and look back to focus on everything positive that has happened in your life during 2020.

Since I am making all of you take a second to look back at your positives from 2020, I am going to share with you all of my bright moments during this crazy year!

I have been fortunate enough to have my husband home with my puppy and I every day since March. Some couples may have seen this as spending too much time with each other every day, but we took full advantage of having breakfast, lunch and dinner together everyday between his work schedule. I am lucky to have a life partner that I want to spend 24 hours a day with 7 days a week!

I have always been an athletic person who eats healthy, but I took this to an entire new level during quarantine. I changed my work out routine, I changed my dietary restrictions and after four months I saw my first change in my body. Then again after six months I saw my final body change. I worked extremely hard to lose 16lbs. I have maintained this body weight now for three months and I couldn’t feel or be happier than I am right now!

Never in a million years did I see myself not living in New York City, but I had the opportunity to see what it would be like to live in the suburbs of Philadelphia during quarantine. I got to spend extra time with family that I normally only see a few times a year, I had the chance to spend extra special moments with my childhood best friends and I got to be in my house instead of crammed in an apartment during quarantine. I spent my summer enjoying every moment in the sun by the pool or on the tennis court with my husband and long walks through the park with my puppy.

My final amazing moments include purchasing my first “big girl car,” and having the chance to start redoing my suburban home! We haven’t made any official plans to leave New York City just yet, but I think 2021 has a lot to bring to the Bienstock household.

Every single one of these moments has trumped all of the negativity that has happened in my life in 2020. I cherished every moment of positivity and held onto it like it was my life line so that I wouldn’t have to look back at anything negative that happened.

I look forward to a year of positivity, a year of change and a new year of happiness. 2021 has a lot in store for all of us, and I hope you all get to learn and grow as you change in this new year. After this chaotic year, we all deserve a fresh start and 2021 is that fresh start.

So, for now, Goodbye 2020 and Hello 2021!
